ColoLAVAGE Colon Hydrotherapy Session: $90
The ColoLAVAGE, a trademarked alternative prep for colonoscopy, is a method of lower bowel cleansing consisting of a low dosage of traditional oral prep combined with natural formulas and and specialized colonic irrigation (colon hydrotherapy) techniques using filtered water with a state of the art FDA/CE approved equipment. The ColoLAVAGE is used for preparation prior to radiological or endoscopic examination.
This is a single Extended Colon Hydrotherapy Session (2 hour appointment) that is best scheduled in our office in Rochester the same day as your endoscopic exam. Although this treatment is coordinated with the client's Gastroenterologist's office, it is not covered by insurance. If you have an Employee Benefits Card or a Health Savings Account, those can be used to cover the cost of your treatment.
Great for patients who have:
- Had bad preps in the past
- Have motility issues
- Have had gastric bypass
Prior to scheduling your ColoLAVAGE appointment, you will need to contact your GI doctor to request the low volume alternative prep (ColoLAVAGE). If your doctor is not familiar with the alternative prep, our office will be happy to work with your doctors office to educate them on the benefits of ColoLAVAGE.

Once you've been given the approval by the Gastroenterologist's office, you will need to schedule your colon hydrotherapy session. If your colonoscopy exam is scheduled at 11:30 am or later, your colon hydrotherapy session can be scheduled on the same day as your colonoscopy. If your exam is scheduled before 11:30 am, your colon hydrotherapy session will need to be scheduled the afternoon before. It is best to schedule your colonoscopy exam for 11:30 am or later to ensure an optimal bowel preparation.

The colon hydrotherapy session can take up to 2 hours to complete so please plan accordingly.
